Youth Ministry

Our Pastor is currently looking for a new Youth Minister to lead our Youth Ministry Program into the future. Ideally we are looking for someone with a degree in Theology. A minimum requirement will be some type of formal training in Youth Ministry with an in-depth knowledge of Renewing the Vision: A framework for Catholic Youth Ministry. This is very important in today’s Church as we seek to promote the new Evangelization among our younger members and help them to grow in Christ. The Youth Minister will have responsibility for:

• Jr. High program content and execution
• High School program administration, content and execution
• Assisting with Chaplaincy at Newark Catholic High School through retreats and music
• Forming a team of single and married young adults to help with this work
