Holy Orders

“Holy Orders is the sacrament through which the mission entrusted by Christ to his apostles continues to be exercised in the Church until the end of time: thus it is the sacrament of apostolic ministry. It includes three degrees: episcopate, presbyterate, and diaconate.” Catechism of the Catholic Church 1536

There are many different ministries in the Church.  We all have the responsibility to prayerfully seek God’s guidance as we try to discern our vocation in life.  Among those vocation is the call to Priesthood and the Religious life.  Do you know someone who is feeling a call to this way of Life?  Is there someone whom you think would make a good priest or religious?  Have you discussed this with them?  The simple step of telling someone you think they would make a good priest is often the little seed that encourages a vocation to grow.

We encourage anyone who is feeling God’s call to priesthood or the religious life to contact the Pastor.  All inquiries are treated confidentially; we are here to help you on your journey.
