Each year we celebrate volunteerism and invite all to make a commitment of time, talent, and treasure to St. Francis for the coming year. Volunteers are needed to serve on this committee and to contact fellow parishioners by phone to gain their participation.

The Parish Ministries Council is a new model of the Parish Pastoral Council.
Parish life is especially formed and motivated by two teachings of the Lord Jesus, the Great Commandment and the Great Commission. Jesus commanded his disciples, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength and with all your mind…and you shall love your neighbor as yourself.” (Matthew 22:35-40) Jesus also commissioned his followers to, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.” (Matthew 28:16-20)
The Parish Ministries Council assists the Parish Priest as he seeks to lead the members of the parish to become ever more committed disciples by living the Great Commandment and the Great Commission.
The Council is made up of the chairs of the various parish committees, ministries and outreaches and the Parish Leadership Team. Through this very broad and diverse membership, representative of all parishioners, the Parish Ministries Council assists, advises and informs the Parish Priest about parish life and how Saint Francis de Sales Parish might respond to new opportunities for outreach, service and growth in the life of discipleship.
