The role of this Ministry is to assist the family of the deceased in their planning of the funeral liturgy. The family chooses the readings and hymns and identifies family members and friends who are to participate as readers, gift bearers and pallbearers. The Funeral Liturgy team assists the pastor during the Mass and also helps to console with the bereaved. They are representative of the entire community of St. Francis to show the nearness that the entire community has with the bereaved.
