Linda has been a lifetime resident of Licking County. An adventurer in life, when she was 21 she traveled Europe and at 28 was a tour director to Africa. Linda has been to Lourdes several times as her spiritual retreat and as well as trips to the Holy Land. She loves traveling, learning about different cultures, and inspiring people to travel with her.
Linda graduated from Newark Senior High School and attended the American Institute of Banking. She started her 25-year banking career with Newark Trust Company and was the first female bank branch manager of Licking County. After banking Linda was a reporter/photographer for the Licking Countian Newspaper/The Good News Newspaper. The Ohio National Guard recognized her as one the top ten reporters in the field of newspaper, television, and radio in the State of Ohio for her reporting of the guard in training at Camp Grayling, Michigan. Linda finished her professional career as Manager of the Credit Bureau Services of Newark, a division of CBC of Columbus.
She converted to Catholicism in 2006 and is devoted to her religion. Linda was one of the recipients of the Mother Theresa Award of the Diocese in 2017. She was also nominated for Catholic Woman of the Year. Linda was previously chairman of a senior social group prior to St Francis. Linda’s inspiration is to motivate and inspire all seniors to become a Franciscan and participate in all of the events and activities.
