Video and audio production of the weekly Mass takes quite the team of individuals with varying talents.
The videographer is part of the St Francis de Sales Tech Team. This role is responsible for taking audio inputs from the sound board and video inputs from several high-definition cameras and stream the production output to Internet distribution sites such as YouTube as well as to local networked devices throughout the parish campus.
The projectionist uses a program on the computer called Proclaim to project lyrics, videos, readings, prayers, etc. on to the church projector and to the live stream computer.
The audio engineer facilitates four different live mixes, The house mix, two monitor mixes and a live stream mix. During our usual Mass there are anywhere from 10 to 15 different tracks being mixed together and sent to different audio speakers throughout the campus and the world through the internet.
