Please join us on Wednesday, February 3, the Feast Day of Saint Blaise, for a Prayer Service, including a special
Blessing of Throats by Father Sullivan. The service will be in the church, beginning at 1:30 p.m. St. Francis School will be in attendance and all are welcome!

Palms from previous years can be brought to the Church to be burned into ashes for use on Ash Wednesday. Please place them in the baskets at the doors in the next couple of weeks. Thank you.

ABC: About Being Catholic

ABC: About Being Catholic

We’re inviting you, along with a non-Catholic or lapsed Catholic friend of yours, to attend our open house for our “ABC: About Being Catholic” faith formation program. ABC is an introduction to the Catholic faith for inquirers and those seeking to become Catholic, and a refresher course for Catholic adults who wish to go deeper in their faith.

THIS WEEK’S TOPIC:  The Ceremonies of Lent & Holy Week: A brief look at the specific ceremonies that take place in Lent, especially those involving adults preparing for Baptism; a look at Holy Week, the apex and climax of the Church’s year – a single liturgical act of worship spread over three days in three major ceremonies, which come to their high point in the Easter Vigil, at which Candidates are baptized (or received into the Church, if they have already been baptized), Confirmed and receive Holy Communion.
